Worked fine at first, but now won't recharge

When I first received this pump I was really excited as it looked like it would fit my needs. We went out on a long trip and it seemed to work well. I tried to recharge it on the trip and things didn't seem like it was working right. I've tried (unsuccessfully) to recharge it at home and it flickers and will not charge. I've contacted Overland Addict and they said, via email, that they would contact manufacturer. Still no word from Overland Addict. At this point I'm afraid that I'm out the purchase price and stuck with something that I had great expectations for, but failed on the first use. My advice is to save your money and don't get this pump.
