National Luna Mounting Base Plates are used for securely mounting National Luna portable fridges to the floor of vehicles, boats, caravans, trailers, and other moving vehicles. These plates are also useful when combined with fridge sliders and drawer systems. Constructed of high-strength stainless steel, these base plates feature custom stainless-steel mounting studs. Base Plates add an additional 10mm to the overall height of your portable fridge.

Mounting plate is well designed, not too heavy

This quick-release mounting plate for the incredibly well made National Luna vehicle fridge is exactly what I needed. As opposed to mounting the fridge by tying down the handles with ropes or ratchet straps, the mounting plate has four protruding metal knobs that slide into four corresponding purpose-built holes in the bottom of the fridge. Simply lower the fridge onto the base plate knobs, slide it back about an inch, and twist two levers to lock it in place. Removal is just as simple. This base plate secures the fridge well during rugged off-road travel, but allows quick removal so one doesn't have to leave the expensive fridge unattended in the car while in hotels at night or the like.
