Are you tired of agonizing pain when climbing barefoot up and down your rooftop tent ladder?

These soft steps will make your feet happy and pain free!

The Ladder Soft Steps are sexy little cushions placed on the ladder rungs, fully designed to contour to the bottom of your foot.

They also have a custom tread designed to prevent slipping.

Install is super simple!  Just use the included mounting hardware (brackets and self tapping screws).

A few things to note:

  • The ladder will still be able to collapse enough for storage.
  • It will add up to 7" of collapsed height to the ladder.
  • The red (collapse all) button on ladders will no longer work. Each rung will need to be collapsed individually. It's the price you pay for comfort!
  • These are designed for the Roam Vagabond rooftop tent. They may work with other RTT manufacturers as long as the ladder rungs are the same dimensions and the buttons that collapse the ladder are on the bottom of the rungs and not the front.

Roof Nest Telescopic Ladder

With a little trimming around the release clips they work nicely. I used 3M automotive tape to hold the treads to the ladder instead of the screws.

They are the perfect angle and feel so much more comfortable going up and down the ladder.

Thanks for thinking of this solution.

Best roof top tent accessory

Going up and down the RTT ladder with hard ladder steps barefoot was murder on my feet. The Soft steps are great! Easy on your feet and easy to install.
