I wanted power options for my Planar 2K. I found OA and everything I needed was offered, great customer service and quick shipping!

Super well made and well put together. The 12v plug itself is high quality and the wiring is done well. This allows me to take the 20’ OA cord for the Planar diesel heater and run it from a 12v cigarette style plug and I also purchased the Anderson style plug adapter. Allows me to quickly plug into multiple sources with confidence and have heat wherever I find myself. One note, the Planar heater requires a bit more than 10a upon startup to initiate the glow plug and start up cycle. Once this is done, it drops down significantly to something like 1a depending on conditions and your thermostat setting. This means a portable battery system like Goal Zero or Jackery may not have sufficient amperage from their 12v plugs. My GZ 500x would trip at 10.8a and therefore, could not power the Planar heater. Huge disappointment initially but no fault of this adapter or the heater.

Ordered the planar heater along with the cigarette adapter and have yet to have any issues. Ran the adapter for 14 hours straight on my Goal zero 1500x and no issues.

I wanted more than one power option to connect my Planar portable diesel heater.
